You need to cut a demo tape that demonstrates your range. I found out all about this by taking an Intro to Voice Over class in San Francisco (I think it was ed the Voice Factory). At the time, I still had my son at home and doing this requires a lot of being available to drive to auditions, etc. I have been thinking, lately, of looking into it again. The reason I'd do it that way is because I would end up with a professionally produced demo tape AND lots of referrals and contacts.
